Welcome to my page!

I am an Assistant Professor of Applied Microeconomics at the University of Piraeus, Department of Economics.

I am also an affiliated researcher at the Identity & Conflict Lab at Yale University and a Research Associate at the Hellenic Observatory at the London School of Economics.

Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Research Affiliate at the iCL at Yale University (2023–2025) and an external researcher at Harvard Business School (2019–2023). I also held postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Piraeus (2022–2025) and the Athens University of Economics and Business (2019–2022), where I studied the peer effects of transferred university students on the educational outcomes of their receiving counterparts. Earlier, I worked as an Economic Analyst at the Research Department of the National Bank of Greece, focusing on Greek macroeconomics (2018–2019).

My research interests lie in applied microeconomics and political economy, with a particular focus on migration, identity, social norms, and education.
